At SHOWREEL we firmly believe that sustainability is not just a choice, but a necessity: since 2012 we have made important investments in this direction, first and foremost with the choice of our headquarters, the house in which we live every day, born from the recovery of a historic farmhouse immersed in the rural reality of Vercelli but with its roots firmly anchored in the fields of Creativity and Design.
ECOVADIS CERTIFICATION FOR SHOWREEL'S COMMITMENT
Within our small large reality, in creative processes as well as in everyday life, attention to environmental, social and governance issues plays a crucial role in the choices we make, with the aim of maintaining the highest standards without compromising the quality of our services.
But self-certification and good intentions are not enough: we wanted to give further substance to our commitment and, for this very reason, we formally launched a structured ESG journey at the end of 2023, which resulted in the achievement of EcoVadis Silver Certification in March 2024, a recognition that places us in the top 15 percent of companies in our industry for ESG responsibility.
SUSTAINABLE BUSINESS CIRCULARITY
The growth of sensitivity about environmental protection is a symptom of an awareness that is totally changing the rules of the market. We bring you the example of Coty, for whom we have been suppliers for years. Coty recently joined the Responsable Beauty Initiative: the initiative promoted by EcoVadis that aims to achieve affordable wellness for all without sacrificing business sustainability.
Many other big companies in the beauty industry such as L’Oreal, LVMH, GROUPE ROCHER have also espoused the cause. What does this initiative entail? Each supplier working with one of the participating companies must be chosen taking care that it is necessarily certified as “sustainable” according to the parameters defined by the initiative.
Sustainable business circularity tells precisely about the need to have control over the entire supply chain (from production, to disposal, to services) so that its impact can be verified and progress can be monitored. We, who in our work are precisely concerned with conveying messages like this on behalf of the companies we work with, also talked about this in another article in our experiences.

ECOVADIS
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most reliable rating platforms for measuring environmental sustainability performance. Using a rigorous and unbiased methodology, it evaluates companies from all sectors based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria. The EcoVadis score, which ranges from 0 to 100, assesses the effectiveness of a company’s sustainability management system at the time of its analysis.
Getting a medal or badge refers to placement within the scoreboard. You will be eligible for a medal whenever the company ranks in the matching percentile of the medal/badge benchmark.
